Casa del Perezoso is over 4,000 square feet of custom built house with spectacular 180-degree Pacific Ocean views, with three private, ocean view, suites.
The home has a wonderful design and seamlessly blends gathering spots, as well as providing privacy for everyone. The open floor plan design beautifully connects the living room (with smart tv), kitchen and dining area, which flows down to the pool area and two of the suites.
Each of the three private suites has vaulted ceilings, large sliding glass doors providing amazing views, air conditioning, private bathroom with sink, toilet and "outdoor" shower.
Suite #1 is adjacent to the swimming pool, has ocean views from the bed and also has luxurious soaking bathtub.
Suite #2, along with Suite #1, is next to the private swimming pool.
Suite #3 is the most private area of the property and is accessed by walking across a charming bridge over a creek that flows during the green season. Suite #3 is perched above all of the other structures on the property and has amazing views.
Bunk-bed Nook: In the main house there is an open nook, with two-sets of bunkbeds. Each bunk bed is easily accessible and the nook has its own half-bathroom.
As you enter the home you will be in the living room/TV area. Immediately Guests will notice beautiful vaulted ceilings, the open floor plan and views of the swimming pool and the Pacific Ocean.
The attention to detail and design in this house is amazing. There is beautiful custom woodwork throughout the house, with teak stairs and walkways and acacia cabinetry, furniture, and beams throughout the house, with purple heart wood accents. The accordion screens and telescoping patio doors offer maximum flow throughout the house. Inset lights on the stairs and walkways give a soft glow at night. The fully fenced, .6-acre property is beautifully landscaped, and monkeys, toucans, and sloths regularly visit the property!

Casa del Perezoso is nestled in the hills of Escaleras - one of the most exclusive areas in the Southern Pacific region of Costa Rica.
The home is within 5 minutes of Scala Commercial Center which has a Sibu coffee shop, Restaurante Scala and a mini-mart. For a more relaxed atmosphere, and the areas best wings and hamburgers, the famous Bar Jolly Roger is also nearby. Jolly Rogers is a great place to watch NFL, MLB or NBA, and to mingle with both locals and ex-pats.
Close to both the surf town of Dominical and Uvita (home of the world famous Whales Tail beach and Ballena National Park), everything you need is just minutes away, while you get to enjoy the peace and tranquility of this beautiful home! It is an oasis, but with all the modern conveniences you desire!
Check-in must be completed by 8 pm on the day of check-in. A 4x4 vehicle is required to arrive at Casa del Perezoso. Guests will have unlimited, 24-hour, access to the property.
