Modern bohemian beach house in hermosa palms gated community. 1 of 13 houses on a long 7 km beach. The house has amazing ocean views from almost every room. It is a true beachfront, meaning no access road in front which is rare for CR. We also have a private pool. Open concept kitchen/living room with vaulted high ceilings and lots of windows and light.

Close to Jaco, Herradura & Los suenos, but secluded. Close enough, 7 min, to great restaurants in Jaco or grab supplies. Jaco is a great family tico town until about 10pm, then the nightlife starts. There are casinos but we have never visited, not our thing. We are usually tired from the days activities, but music and dancing can be found.
We love the local restaurants; caliche's wishbone, arrigato, tsunami sushi, The backyard, graffiti cafe, puddlefish brewery and our favorite- the green room is all organic with amazing local beers. The artisan ice cream shop Rebelissmo is amazing and handmade. Vida Hermosa, located in Hermosa, is great for a sunset drink or breakfast while watching surfers.
Playa Hermosa is a world class beach break, one of the most consistent in the world. We are also in the middle of the coast with amazing breaks up and down from us. We say you can always find perfect surf -with a little drive.
We have some great beginner breaks and amazing surf instruction for all levels. We can help arrange at all levels and help you find the right beach to learn.
The area has many attractions - only a short drive away. Manual antonio, carcara national park, cloud forest, volcanoes, water falls, tortuga day trips, etc.
Tours and activities are yoga, surfing, sup, fishing, spear fishing, zip lining, horse back riding, atv, mountain bikes, moto tours, white water rafting, kayaking, tortuga snorkeling, etc...
Roberto can help with all tours and trips if needed.
Roberto is our house manager that lives in the neighborhood, he is originally from Hawaii and has lived in CR for 14 years. He speaks 5 languages and is an expert surfer.
Carmela is our house keeper that will clean every other day and is part of the family.
We are also able to arrange a private chef for any or all meals if interested.
We want to help you enjoy CR- it's our favorite place in the world. We don't have many rules here, but it is NOT a party house. We ask for respect for our property. The neighborhood has a 10pm noise rule and we do not allow overnight guests. Rules will be emailed upon request of booking and we reserve the right to have you removed from the property if you choose to damage property, be disrespectful to our friends and locals in the neighborhood, or disregard the 10pm noise laws. A few drinks are fine- but handle your liquor and be cool - Pura Vida is a way of life.
