Positive: Villa Colibrí is simply spectacular. The rooms are beautifully designed and seamlessly blend with the surrounding jungle — waking up to the sound of monkeys and tropical birds is something magical. I stayed here with my closest friends to celebrate my birthday, and it turned out to be one of the best trips we’ve ever had. The photos don’t do justice to the architecture, the details, or the atmosphere of the place. Leo, the owner and host, is amazing — kind, respectful, and full of great local tips. He recommended the best restaurants and the perfect beach spots, all within walking distance from the villa. To our surprise, the property even had a brand-new pool waiting for us, which made the experience even better. It’s clear that Villa Colibrí is a labor of love. I’d return in a heartbeat every time I visit Cocles. Highly recommended.
